Alvaro José's paintings, helping to save some lives.

Being able to help out is a great feeling, but being able to help out doing what you love, is a blessing.

Last week Alvaro José donated "Bella" to West Elm Palm Beach Gardens, for their silent auction benefitting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The artist himself is diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, so for him it is especially close to the heart to be able to help in any way to such a great cause.

"Bella" is the painting of a cancer survivor. Not anyone in particular, but all brave warriors. The name Bella means beautiful in Italian and Spanish. Alvaro José named her painting "Bella" because although she lost her hair, she won the battle. She is beautiful, she is a warrior, she is a survivor, she is a goddess, she is BELLA!

The event was beautiful and quaint. There was Christmas Carols, sang beautifully by a local high school choir.

Thank you West Elm Palm Beach Gardens to include us in this amazing event.

Some of Alvaro José's painting are available now at West Elm Palm Beach Gardens. A percentage of the proceeds will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
