INDIFFERENCE

If you look closely to this painting, you will notice that the girl covering her eyes, is in fact peeking through, and the girl covering her mouth, is in fact only covering half of it, and the girl covering her ears is in fact only holding her hands to her cheeks.

In this painting the artists is referring to people who  do see, hear and can speak out against injustices, but prefer to remain silent, blind and deaf to prejudice, suffering, crime etc.

This is an amazingly beautiful piece of art with vibrant colors, yet elegant and modern at the same time.
